Role Overview
DrExpat is hiring a Specialist in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) for a leading hospital in Al Ain. This opportunity is ideal for pediatric intensive care specialists who are passionate about managing critically ill infants and children while working within a multidisciplinary critical care environment.
You will provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring, advanced life support, and complex medical management in a modern tertiary healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill infants and children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- Provide advanced life support, ventilatory management, and hemodynamic monitoring.
- Manage pediatric emergencies, sepsis, respiratory failure, trauma, and postoperative critical care cases.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding treatment plans and clinical progress.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance programs.
Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU).
- Valid PICU license is required.
- Previous experience in a tertiary care PICU is preferred.
- Valid DOH license.
- Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: AED 45,000 – AED 55,000 per month
