Role Overview – Consultant Pediatric Infectious Disease
As a Consultant Pediatric Infectious Disease Specialist, you will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of infectious diseases affecting children while working closely with pediatricians, intensivists, microbiologists, and infection control teams to deliver evidence-based patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex pediatric infectious diseases
- Develop individualized treatment and antimicrobial management plans
- Provide consultation for hospitalized and outpatient pediatric cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare teams
- Support infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow international infectious disease and patient safety guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Consultant Pediatric Infectious Disease qualification
- Tertiary care hospital experience
- Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
