Role Overview – Consultant Pediatric Geneticist
As a Consultant Pediatric Geneticist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage children with inherited and genetic disorders while working closely with pediatricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage inherited genetic disorders in children
- Interpret genetic tests and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide genetic counselling to patients and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with international clinical and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Consultant Pediatric Geneticist
- Arabic speaking (mandatory)
- Tertiary care experience preferred
- DOH Consultant eligibility
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
