Role Overview – Emergency Staff Nurse

As an Emergency Staff Nurse, you will provide immediate nursing care to adult and paediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies.

Working alongside emergency physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will perform rapid patient assessments, deliver emergency interventions, monitor patient conditions, and support high-quality emergency care while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and patient assessments
• Deliver emergency nursing care for adult and paediatric patients
• Administer medications and emergency treatments safely
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
• Assist physicians during emergency procedures and resuscitations
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary emergency teams
• Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Nursing experience
• Adult Emergency, Paediatric Emergency, or mixed Emergency Department experience preferred
• Candidates from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, and the Philippines preferred
• DHA Eligibility or willingness to complete UAE licensing requirements
• Strong triage, emergency response, and patient assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 8,060 – AED 18,000 per month (depending on experience)
