Role Overview – Specialist Vascular Surgeon

As a Specialist Vascular Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders using both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.

You will manage outpatient consultations, perform vascular procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive vascular care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular diseases
• Perform open vascular surgical procedures
• Carry out endovascular interventions using minimally invasive techniques
• Conduct outpatient consultations and develop personalised treatment plans
• Assess patients before and after vascular surgery
• Interpret vascular imaging and diagnostic investigations
• Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
• Stay updated with advances in vascular surgery and endovascular technologies

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with Specialisation in Vascular Surgery
• DHA, DOH, or MOH Licence or Eligibility Letter as a Specialist or Consultant Vascular Surgeon
• Proven experience diagnosing and treating vascular disorders
• Expertise in both open and endovascular vascular procedures
• Ability to independently manage outpatient consultations and surgical cases
• Arabic-speaking candidates will be an advantage
• Strong surgical, communication, and patient management skills
