Role Overview
As a Specialist Cardiologist, you will diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will provide evidence-based cardiac care, interpret diagnostic investigations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular diseases and disorders.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations and inpatient cardiology care.
- Perform and interpret ECG, Echocardiography, Holter monitoring, Stress Tests, and other cardiac investigations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines.
- Manage patients with hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and hospital standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, continuing medical education, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with specialization in Cardiology.
- Western-trained candidates preferred.
- Candidates currently practicing in the UAE market preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience as a Specialist Cardiologist.
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient cardiology care.
- UAE/GCC healthcare experience is preferred.
- Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or eligibility is required.
- Arabic-speaking candidates preferred.
- Excellent communication, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
