Role Overview
DrExpat is hiring a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Specialist for a leading healthcare provider in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi.
This opportunity is ideal for specialists experienced in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pain management, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. You will work closely with orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, physiotherapists, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients regain independence and improve functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal, neurological, and rehabilitation conditions
- Develop personalized rehabilitation and pain management treatment plans
- Manage sports injuries, spinal disorders, and post-operative rehabilitation
- Perform functional assessments and monitor patient progress
- Coordinate care with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients on rehabilitation goals, recovery plans, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare standards
- Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based rehabilitation practices
Requirements
- Specialist qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialist experience preferred
- Experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, pain management, sports injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation
- Experience working in multidisciplinary rehabilitation settings is an advantage
- Western-trained candidates preferred
- Excellent communication and patient management skills
- Valid DHA / DOH / MOH eligibility or UAE medical license preferred

- Salary: Up to AED 65,000 per month
