Role Overview – Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist
As a Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, you will diagnose, evaluate, and manage congenital and acquired cardiovascular conditions in infants, children, and adolescents. You will work closely with pediatricians, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiac care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage congenital and acquired heart diseases in children
- Perform and interpret pediatric echocardiography and other cardiac investigations
- Manage inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology cases
- Perform or assist with pediatric cardiac catheterization where applicable
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric cardiac teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow international clinical guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology
- DOH License, Eligibility, or ability to obtain one
- Expertise in congenital and acquired pediatric heart diseases
- Proficiency in echocardiography; cardiac catheterization experience preferred
- Arabic-speaking candidates preferred
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 70,000 – AED 90,000 per month
