Role Overview – Consultant Gut Rehabilitation Medicine (PM&R)

As a Consultant in Gut Rehabilitation Medicine (PM&R), you will manage patients with complex gastrointestinal rehabilitation needs, develop individualized rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve functional outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients requiring gastrointestinal rehabilitation
• Develop individualized rehabilitation and recovery plans
• Collaborate with gastroenterology, nutrition, and surgical teams
• Manage complex intestinal rehabilitation cases
• Monitor patient progress and optimize treatment plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with international rehabilitation and patient safety standards

Requirements

• Consultant in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Experience or subspecialty focus in Gut / Intestinal Rehabilitation
• Experience managing complex gastrointestinal rehabilitation cases
• Multidisciplinary collaboration with gastroenterology and nutrition teams
• Tertiary care hospital experience preferred
• Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
