Role Overview – Critical Care Specialist
As a Critical Care Specialist, you will provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). You will manage life-threatening conditions, perform advanced critical care procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage critically ill patients in the ICU
- Manage ventilated patients and multi-organ failure cases
- Perform emergency and acute critical care procedures
- Develop individualized treatment and critical care management plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow international critical care and patient safety guidelines
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Specialization in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care (MD, FCICM, EDIC, or equivalent)
- Valid DHA, MOH, or DOH license or eligibility
- 2–5 years of ICU experience (junior specialists considered)
- Experience managing ventilated patients and multi-organ failure
- Skilled in emergency and acute care procedures
- Arabic language is an advantage
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 35,000 – AED 40,000 per month
