The hospital is equipped with advanced medical technology, modern neonatal intensive care facilities, and a team of highly experienced specialists committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Role Overview – Consultant Neonatologist

As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will provide specialised medical care for premature, critically ill, and high-risk newborns admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). You will work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists to ensure the highest standards of neonatal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU.
• Provide neonatal resuscitation and emergency stabilization.
• Manage ventilated neonates and advanced respiratory support.
• Treat neonatal infections, congenital disorders, and neonatal complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Perform neonatal procedures according to international clinical standards.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in neonatal quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
• Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Fellowship in Neonatology from a recognised institution.
• Valid DOH License or eligibility.
• Minimum 5–10 years of NICU experience.
• Strong expertise in managing premature infants and critically ill newborns.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 80,000 – AED 85,000 per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
