Role Overview
As a Consultant Neurologist, you will diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with a broad range of neurological disorders. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based treatment for acute and chronic neurological conditions while utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex neurological disorders in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Evaluate and treat patients with stroke, epilepsy, neurodegenerative diseases, headaches, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Interpret neurological investigations, including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, CT, and MRI findings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practices.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide patient education and long-term neurological disease management.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and hospital standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuing medical education.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Western Board Certification or equivalent Consultant qualification in Neurology.
- Minimum 8+ years of post-specialization Consultant experience.
- Expertise in managing stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative disorders.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and patient management skills.
- Valid DHA / MOH / DOH License or eligibility.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.

- AED 75,000 – AED 85,000 per month
