Role Overview – Specialist Acute Radiologist

As a Specialist Acute Radiologist, you will provide timely and accurate interpretation of emergency and acute imaging studies, supporting rapid diagnosis and treatment for critically ill and emergency patients. You will work closely with emergency medicine physicians, surgeons, intensivists, and other specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret emergency CT, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound examinations
• Report acute trauma and emergency imaging studies accurately and efficiently
• Support emergency departments with rapid diagnostic decisions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams on complex cases
• Ensure high-quality imaging reporting while maintaining clinical accuracy
• Participate in on-call and shift-based radiology services as required
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with international radiology standards
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development

Requirements

• Recognized Specialist qualification in Radiology
• Experience in acute and emergency radiology reporting
• Ability to handle high-volume CT, MRI, and emergency imaging cases
• Eligibility for DHA Specialist License
• Strong reporting accuracy and clinical collaboration skills
• Availability for on-call or shift-based work as required
