Role Overview
DrExpat is hiring a Specialist / Consultant Neurologist for a prestigious hospital in Al Ain. This opportunity is ideal for experienced neurologists passionate about diagnosing and treating complex neurological disorders while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
You will manage both inpatient and outpatient neurological cases, provide evidence-based treatment, and contribute to delivering exceptional patient outcomes using advanced diagnostic technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological disorders.
- Evaluate and treat conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, headaches, and neuromuscular disorders.
- Interpret neurological investigations including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, and nerve conduction studies.
- Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Postgraduate qualification in Neurology (MD, DM, MRCP, CCT, Board Certification, or equivalent).
- DOH eligibility is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience for Specialist level.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience for Consultant level (depending on qualifications).
- Strong experience diagnosing and managing neurological disorders.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Western or Arab nationality preferred (as per hospital requirements).
- Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.

- Salary: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
