Role Overview – ICU Adult Staff Nurse

As an ICU Adult Staff Nurse, you will provide specialised nursing care for critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring, advanced life support, and complex medical interventions.

You will work closely with intensivists, physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialised nursing care to critically ill adult patients
• Continuously monitor patient condition and vital signs
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments
• Operate and monitor ventilators, infusion pumps, and ICU equipment
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and patient deterioration
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and clinical records
• Educate and support patients’ families during critical care treatment
• Collaborate with intensivists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Adult ICU nursing experience
• Strong critical care, patient assessment, and emergency response skills
• Candidates from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, and the Philippines preferred
• DHA Eligibility or willingness to complete the DHA licensing process
• Excellent clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 8,060 – AED 18,000 per month (depending on experience)
