Role Overview – Pediatric Radiotherapy Consultant
As a Pediatric Radiotherapy Consultant, you will develop and deliver individualized radiation treatment plans for children with cancer while collaborating closely with pediatric oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage pediatric patients requiring radiation therapy
- Develop individualized radiotherapy treatment plans
- Treat pediatric solid tumors and hematological malignancies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric oncology teams
- Monitor treatment response and manage therapy-related complications
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow international radiation oncology and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Western Board, CCT, CESR, American Board, or equivalent Tier 1 qualification
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiation Oncology
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-board Consultant experience in a recognized pediatric oncology center
- Experience managing pediatric solid tumors and hematological malignancies requiring radiotherapy
- Eligibility for DOH, DHA, or MOH Consultant licensure
- Strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: Up to AED 85,000 per month
