Role Overview – Consultant Spine Surgeon (Scoliosis)

As a Consultant Spine Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat patients with scoliosis, spinal deformities, degenerative spine disorders, and complex spinal conditions. You will perform advanced spine surgeries while working closely with orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, pain specialists, and rehabilitation teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with scoliosis and spinal deformities
• Perform complex spinal deformity correction and scoliosis surgeries
• Treat degenerative, traumatic, and congenital spine disorders
• Develop individualized surgical and non-surgical treatment plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary orthopedic and rehabilitation teams
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with international patient safety standards
• Participate in clinical governance, education, and continuous professional development

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Board-certified or equivalent qualification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
• Fellowship in Spine Surgery
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience
• Extensive experience in scoliosis management and corrective spine surgery
• Expertise in spinal deformity correction, including adolescent and adult scoliosis
• Experience in both surgical and non-surgical spine treatments
• Strong exposure to complex spine cases
• Arabic-speaking candidates preferred
• Valid DHA, MOH, or HAAD Consultant License or eligibility
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: AED 80,000 to AED 90,000 per month
