Role Overview
DrExpat is hiring a Consultant Rheumatologist for a prestigious hospital in Al Ain. This opportunity is ideal for experienced consultants with expertise in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory arthritis, and advanced biologic therapies who are looking to join a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
You will diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic conditions while working closely with internal medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and other specialist teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Treat patients with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, vasculitis, spondyloarthritis, gout, osteoporosis, and connective tissue diseases.
- Prescribe and monitor biologic therapies and disease-modifying treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment and long-term disease management plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Requirements
- Western Board, CCT, CESR, American Board, or equivalent Tier 1 qualification in Rheumatology.
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-board Consultant experience.
- Expertise in autoimmune diseases, inflammatory arthritis, and biologic therapies.
- Eligibility for DOH Consultant licensure.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary care settings is preferred.
