Role Overview – Consultant Pediatrician

As a Consultant Pediatrician, you will provide comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and adolescents, managing both routine and complex pediatric conditions while supporting emergency and inpatient services.

You will collaborate with neonatologists, pediatric subspecialists, intensivists, emergency physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver evidence-based pediatric care and achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric medical conditions
• Assess and treat neonatal and pediatric emergency cases
• Manage critically ill children requiring advanced medical care
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
• Provide inpatient, outpatient, and emergency pediatric consultations
• Educate parents and caregivers on child health and preventive care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and continuing medical education

Requirements

• Medical Degree from a recognised institution
• Board-certified or equivalent qualification in Pediatrics
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience
• Valid Consultant License (DHA, MOH, or DOH)
• Expertise in managing critically ill children, including ventilator support
• Experience managing neonatal and pediatric emergency cases
• Bilingual communication skills preferred (Arabic and English)

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 50,000 – AED 60,000 per month
