The Company
The client is a premier tertiary care facility and one of the largest hospitals in the United Arab Emirates. It is part of the Government Health System responsible for delivering specialized healthcare services across public hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates.
Role Overview – Consultant Pediatric Radiologist
As a Consultant Pediatric Radiologist, you will perform and interpret a wide range of pediatric imaging studies, providing accurate diagnostic reports and supporting multidisciplinary teams in the diagnosis and management of neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret pediatric X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI examinations
- Provide accurate diagnostic reports for pediatric patients
- Support clinicians in diagnosing congenital and acquired conditions
- Collaborate with pediatric specialists and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure high standards of imaging quality and patient safety
- Supervise imaging protocols and radiation safety practices
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and imaging records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
- Fellowship, Board Certification, CCT, CCST, FRCR, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized qualification
- Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology is preferred; however, extensive dedicated Pediatric Radiology experience will be considered
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-board experience in Pediatric Radiology within a tertiary care or children’s hospital
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: Up to AED 85,000 per month
