Role Overview – Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon
As a Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting children, providing both surgical and conservative treatment while collaborating with pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric orthopedic conditions
- Perform pediatric orthopedic surgical procedures
- Treat congenital, developmental, and traumatic musculoskeletal disorders
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on treatment options and recovery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow international orthopedic and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Recognized specialist qualification in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics
- Western-trained candidates preferred
- American Board Certification is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: Up to AED 90,000 per month
