Role Overview – Pediatric Electrophysiologist
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Pediatric Electrophysiologist to join a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for a fellowship-trained cardiologist with expertise in diagnosing and treating cardiac rhythm disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.
You will perform advanced electrophysiology studies, catheter ablations, and cardiac device implantations while collaborating with pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric cardiac arrhythmias
- Perform electrophysiology (EP) studies and catheter ablation procedures
- Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs, and cardiac rhythm devices
- Utilize advanced 3D mapping systems for complex EP procedures
- Manage congenital and acquired rhythm disorders in pediatric patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary pediatric cardiac teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow international electrophysiology and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Electrophysiology
- DOH Tier 1 eligibility or Consultant licensure
- Expertise in catheter ablation, electrophysiology studies, and device implantation
- Experience managing pediatric arrhythmias and congenital heart rhythm disorders
- Skilled in advanced 3D cardiac mapping technologies
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
