Role Overview

As a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Hip Arthroscopy, you will diagnose and treat complex hip disorders using advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques. You will manage patients with sports-related injuries, femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), labral tears, and hip preservation conditions while collaborating with physiotherapists, sports medicine physicians, and rehabilitation specialists.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex hip disorders and sports-related injuries.
• Perform advanced hip arthroscopy and hip preservation procedures.
• Treat patients with femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), labral tears, cartilage injuries, and other hip pathologies.
• Develop individualized surgical and rehabilitation treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary orthopedic and rehabilitation teams.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and hospital standards.
• Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Board-certified or equivalent qualification in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship or specialized training in Hip Arthroscopy.
• Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization Consultant experience.
• Proven expertise in hip arthroscopy procedures.
• Advanced experience in hip preservation surgery and arthroscopic techniques.
• Strong expertise in managing labral tears, femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), and sports-related hip injuries.
• Arabic-speaking candidates preferred.
• Valid DHA / MOH / HAAD Consultant License or eligibility.

• AED 80,000 – AED 90,000 per month
