Our client is a leading healthcare provider in the UAE, recognized for delivering world-class medical services through advanced technology, multidisciplinary expertise, and patient-centered care. As part of its continued expansion, the organization is launching a new state-of-the-art hospital in Dubai, bringing together internationally trained physicians and healthcare professionals across a wide range of specialties.
Role Overview – General & Laparoscopic Surgeon
As a General & Laparoscopic Surgeon, you will perform a broad range of elective and emergency surgical procedures while delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex surgical cases using advanced laparoscopic techniques and evidence-based clinical practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
- Manage emergency and trauma-related general surgery cases.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for surgical patients.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
- Support the development of surgical best practices within the department.
Requirements
- DHA, DOH, or MOH eligibility or valid UAE medical license.
- Consultant or Specialist qualification in General Surgery.
- Fellowship or advanced training in Minimally Invasive/Laparoscopic Surgery preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
- Mandatory experience in trauma and emergency general surgery.
- Robotic surgery experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working in tertiary care hospitals with emergency surgical services.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 70,000–AED 90,000 per month
