Role Overview – Consultant Fetal Maternal Medicine
As a Consultant Fetal Maternal Medicine Specialist, you will manage high-risk pregnancies, perform advanced fetal assessments, and provide specialist care for mothers and unborn babies with complex medical or obstetric conditions.
You will work closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, radiologists, genetic specialists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve the best maternal and fetal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal medical conditions
- Perform advanced fetal ultrasound assessments and prenatal diagnosis
- Monitor fetal growth, wellbeing, and congenital abnormalities
- Develop individualized maternal and fetal care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary maternity and neonatal teams
- Provide antenatal counselling and pregnancy management recommendations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
- Ensure compliance with international maternal-fetal medicine guidelines
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Fellowship or subspecialty training in Fetal Maternal Medicine
- Consultant-level experience
- DOH license or eligibility
- Willingness to work across Al Ain & Al Dhafra
- Immediate joiner or maximum 3 months’ notice period
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
