Role Overview – Consultant Emergency Medicine

As a Consultant in Emergency Medicine, you will provide expert care for patients presenting with acute illnesses, trauma, and medical emergencies. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based treatment while supporting high clinical standards in one of Abu Dhabi’s leading healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with acute medical and surgical emergencies
• Lead trauma resuscitations and critical care interventions
• Diagnose and treat a broad range of emergency conditions
• Provide rapid clinical decision-making in high-pressure situations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Supervise and support junior medical staff where required
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in line with UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Deliver evidence-based emergency care following international best practices

Requirements

• Board-certified Consultant in Emergency Medicine
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience
• Expertise in trauma, resuscitation, and acute emergency care
• Eligible for DOH Consultant License
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Arabic speakers preferred

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
