Role Overview
DrExpat is hiring a Consultant Cardiothoracic Radiologist for a prestigious healthcare provider in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for highly experienced consultant radiologists with fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Imaging who are passionate about delivering advanced cardiac and thoracic imaging services in a modern tertiary care environment.
You will perform and interpret complex cardiothoracic imaging studies while working closely with cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, pulmonologists, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret advanced cardiac and thoracic imaging studies with a high degree of diagnostic accuracy.
- Perform and report Cardiac CT, Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), Cardiac MRI, Thoracic CT, HRCT, Pulmonary Imaging, and Vascular Imaging.
- Collaborate with cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, respiratory medicine, and oncology teams to support patient management.
- Provide timely and evidence-based radiology reports for complex cardiovascular and thoracic cases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical case discussions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with DHA regulations and international radiology standards.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental education activities.
Requirements
- DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as a Consultant Radiologist.
- CCT (UK) or American Board Certification is mandatory.
- Tier 1 Consultant qualification.
- Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Imaging is mandatory.
- Minimum 8–10 years of post-specialization experience in Cardiothoracic Radiology.
- Extensive expertise in Cardiac CT, Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA), Cardiac MRI, Thoracic CT, HRCT, Pulmonary Imaging, and Vascular Imaging.
