The Company
The client is a premier tertiary care facility and one of the largest hospitals in the United Arab Emirates. It is part of the Government Health System responsible for delivering specialized healthcare services across public hospitals and clinics in Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates.
Role Overview – Consultant Breast Radiologist
As a Consultant Breast Radiologist, you will perform and interpret advanced breast imaging studies while collaborating with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely diagnosis and optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI examinations
- Perform image-guided breast biopsies and localization procedures
- Diagnose benign and malignant breast conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary breast cancer teams
- Maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient safety
- Prepare accurate diagnostic reports and clinical documentation
- Participate in breast screening and early detection programs
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency
- Fellowship, Board Certification, CCT, CCST, FRCR, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent recognized qualification
- Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Breast Radiology is mandatory
- Eligible for or holding a valid Consultant license (DOH, DHA, MOH, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-fellowship experience as a Consultant Breast Radiologist in a dedicated breast imaging unit or tertiary care hospital
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: Up to AED 85,000 per month
