Our client is based in Dubai Healthcare City and is a multidisciplinary mental health and neuroscience-focused clinic providing specialized psychological and developmental care for children, adolescents, and adults. The clinic offers evidence-based assessment and therapy services while working closely with families and schools to support emotional, behavioural, and cognitive wellbeing.

Role Overview – Pediatric Clinical Psychologist

As a Pediatric Clinical Psychologist, you will assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based psychological treatment for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioural, developmental, and mental health challenges. You will collaborate with families, schools, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents.
• Diagnose emotional, behavioural, developmental, and mental health conditions.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Develop personalized treatment and behavioural management plans.
• Work collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Prepare detailed psychological reports and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when appropriate.
• Participate in case conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing professional development.

Requirements

• Doctorate or Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Pediatric Psychology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter as a Clinical Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-qualification experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Proven expertise in psychological assessments, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong documentation, report-writing, and case management skills.
• UAE clinical experience is preferred.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE with immediate or short notice availability are preferred.
• Willingness to work one weekend day per week during the initial caseload-building phase.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

Starting Salary: From AED 30,000 per month (during the first 3–6 months)
