Role Overview – Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon

As a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon, you will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles, and the spine. You will perform orthopedic surgical procedures while working closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic orthopedic conditions.
• Perform orthopedic surgical procedures, including trauma and elective surgeries.
• Manage sports injuries, fractures, joint disorders, and musculoskeletal diseases.
• Perform arthroscopic procedures and joint replacement surgeries where appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Follow evidence-based clinical guidelines and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) with specialization in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or Eligibility Letter as a Specialist or Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of orthopedic surgical procedures.
• Experience in trauma, sports injuries, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and general orthopedics preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and post-operative management skills.
• Excellent patient communication and clinical leadership abilities.
• Arabic-speaking candidates are highly preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: AED 50,000 – AED 55,000 per month
