Role Overview – Consultant Emergency Medicine
As a Consultant Emergency Physician, you will assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses, traumatic injuries, and life-threatening emergencies. You will lead emergency resuscitations, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure timely, evidence-based treatment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage medical, surgical, and trauma emergencies
- Lead advanced life support and emergency resuscitation procedures
- Stabilize critically ill patients and coordinate emergency interventions
- Collaborate with specialists, intensivists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise junior physicians and support clinical decision-making
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with international emergency medicine standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
- Contribute to efficient patient flow and emergency department operations
Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- American Board, CCT, CCST, or equivalent Western qualification in Emergency Medicine
- Minimum 5–8 years of consultant-level experience
- DHA, DOH, or MOH eligibility or license preferred
- Strong expertise in emergency and critical care management
- Bilingual communication skills preferred
- UAE experience preferred but not essential
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Up to AED 60,000 per month
