Role Overview
As a Consultant Gynecological Oncology Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat gynecological cancers, perform complex oncological surgeries, and collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams to deliver comprehensive cancer care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced specialists seeking Gynecological Oncology Surgeon Jobs in Abu Dhabi with one of the region’s leading healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage gynecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, and endometrial malignancies.
- Perform advanced gynecological oncology and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary cancer teams.
- Participate in tumor boards and coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Provide pre-operative, post-operative, and long-term follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare standards.
- Contribute to clinical quality improvement and evidence-based oncology practices.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and subspecialty in Gynaecologic Oncology.
- Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Gynaecologic Oncology.
- Extensive experience in oncological surgeries involving ovarian, cervical, uterine, and related cancers.
- Expertise in advanced and complex gynecological oncology procedures.
- Experience in multidisciplinary cancer treatment programs preferred.
- Background in recognized oncology centres or tertiary care hospitals preferred.
- Valid DOH, DHA, or MOH license or eligibility.
- Tier 1 qualification preferred but not mandatory.
