Role Overview – Consultant Gastroenterologist (ERCP & EUS)
As a Consultant Gastroenterologist specializing in ERCP and EUS, you will diagnose and manage complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic disorders using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. You will collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced ERCP and EUS procedures independently.
- Diagnose and manage complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.
- Perform therapeutic endoscopic interventions using evidence-based techniques.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex gastrointestinal cases.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and procedural records.
- Ensure compliance with international patient safety and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous medical education and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Specialist or Consultant qualification in Gastroenterology.
- Strong experience performing advanced endoscopic procedures.
- Mandatory expertise in ERCP and EUS.
- Ability to manage complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.
- Experience in therapeutic endoscopy preferred.
- Valid DHA / DOH / MOH License or Eligibility preferred.
- Ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
