Role Overview – Consultant Interventional Neuroradiology

As a Consultant Interventional Neuroradiologist, you will diagnose and treat complex neurovascular disorders using advanced image-guided minimally invasive procedures. You will play a key role in managing acute ischemic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), carotid artery disease, and other cerebrovascular conditions.

Working closely with neurologists, neurosurgeons, emergency physicians, anesthesiologists, and critical care teams, you will deliver evidence-based neurovascular care while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced neurovascular interventional procedures.
• Manage acute ischemic stroke through mechanical thrombectomy and related interventions.
• Treat cerebral aneurysms, AVMs, carotid artery disease, and other neurovascular conditions.
• Interpret advanced neuroimaging studies for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary neuroscience teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in emergency stroke intervention services when required.
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and clinical records.
• Follow international clinical governance, quality, and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to departmental education, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Tier 1 qualification in Interventional Radiology or Neuro Interventional Radiology.
• Consultant-level experience in neurovascular interventions.
• Expertise in stroke intervention and complex neurovascular procedures.
• Eligible for DHA Consultant licensure.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary neuroscience team.
• Strong commitment to clinical governance and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
