Role Overview – Consultant Trauma Anesthesiologist
As a Consultant Trauma Anesthesiologist, you will provide anesthesia services for trauma and emergency surgical cases, ensuring safe perioperative care for critically injured patients. You will work closely with trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, intensivists, and operating theatre teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for major trauma and emergency surgical procedures
- Manage critically ill and high-acuity trauma patients
- Support multidisciplinary trauma teams during emergency interventions
- Follow advanced trauma and perioperative care protocols
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure patient safety
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance initiatives
Requirements
- Consultant Anesthetist with trauma anesthesia experience
- Experience providing anesthesia support in a major trauma center (mandatory)
- Familiarity with high-acuity trauma protocols
- Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure
Salary & Benefits
Salary: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000
