Role Overview – Pediatric Neurologist
As a Pediatric Neurologist, you will diagnose, evaluate, and manage neurological disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents. You will collaborate with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, therapists, and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide comprehensive, evidence-based neurological care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological disorders including epilepsy, developmental delays, neuromuscular diseases, and movement disorders
- Perform neurological assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Interpret EEGs, neuroimaging, and other neurological investigations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Follow international clinical guidelines and patient safety standards
- Participate in continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- MBBS degree with Specialist or Consultant qualification in Pediatric Neurology
- Valid DHA, MOH, or DOH license or eligibility
- Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Neurology
- Expertise in diagnosing and managing pediatric neurological disorders
- Proficiency in interpreting EEG, neuroimaging, and related diagnostic tests
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Up to AED 60,000 per month
