Role Overview – Consultant Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

As a Consultant Pediatric PM&R Physician, you will assess, diagnose, and manage children with neurological, developmental, musculoskeletal, and functional disabilities. You will lead individualized rehabilitation programs while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to maximize patient independence and long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and manage pediatric rehabilitation patients
• Develop individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
• Manage children with cerebral palsy and neurodevelopmental disorders
• Coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs
• Collaborate with pediatricians, therapists, and allied healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and optimize rehabilitation outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
• Follow international rehabilitation and patient safety standards

Requirements

• American Board Certified in Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• DOH Tier 1 eligibility
• Experience in neurodevelopmental rehabilitation
• Expertise in managing cerebral palsy (CP)
• Strong multidisciplinary rehabilitation team experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: AED 85,000 – AED 95,000 per month
