Role Overview – Consultant Spine Surgeon
As a Consultant Spine Surgeon, you will diagnose and surgically manage a wide range of spinal disorders, including degenerative spine disease, spinal trauma, deformities, tumors, and complex spinal conditions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based surgical care while ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex spinal disorders
- Perform advanced spinal surgical procedures
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and pain management teams
- Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow international patient safety standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education
Requirements
- Tier 1 qualification in Orthopedic Surgery or Neurosurgery with spine specialization
- Minimum 5 years of experience in spine surgery
- DOH/HAAD license or eligibility
- Arabic-speaking or Western-trained candidates only
