A recent study from UK-based travel company Insure My Trip has ranked Dubai as the third-safest city on the planet to visit for solo female travellers.
The study highlighted the reasons for this and cited the extremely low crime-rate and that most public transport offered a “women only” section. Travellers responding to the study stated they felt safe from attacks and were confident about walking alone at night.
With Dubai remaining a popular destination for medical professionals to relocate to in order to live and work, it is encouraging for female Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals to know that they would be relocating to one of the safest cities in the world for women.
Doctor Expat’s CEO Kaneez Nabijee commented: “I’ve lived in Dubai for over a decade and I have always felt safe. Not only have I always felt that Dubai was extremely safe for myself and my family, it is an incredibly inclusive community with a high number of Expats. Combine that with the high salaries and excellent weather, I’ve always felt that it is the greatest city on the planet for professionals who are looking to relocate to somewhere new.”
If you are interested in living and working in Dubai as a Doctor, Nurse or Allied Health Professional, you will need a UAE License. Doctor Expat can help you arrange this, and can also provide advice and guidance about relocating to the UAE.
