- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Completion of residency training in gastroenterology
- Board certification or equivalent in gastroenterology
- Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system, liver, and pancreas
- Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy and gastroscopy
- Manage chronic gastrointestinal conditions and provide preventive care
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting gastrointestinal procedures and tests
- Strong clinical judgment in diagnosing and managing a wide range of gastroenterological conditions
