Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Completion of residency training in plastic surgery.
- Additional training or experience specifically in the treatment of burn patients.
- Board certification in burns and plastic surgery from a recognized medical board.
- A valid medical license to practice in the UAE, preferably obtained through the MOH.
- Extensive experience in performing reconstructive surgeries for burn patients, including skin grafting, flap reconstruction, and scar revision.
- Proficiency in managing complex wound care and addressing functional and aesthetic concerns in burn survivors.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including burn care specialists, nurses, and therapists.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and guidelines for the management of burn injuries.
- Familiarity with burn unit protocols, including infection control measures and burn wound management.
