Monthly Archives : August 2018

Thinking about relocating in 2019? It’s time to get started.

With August drawing to a close, we’re now two-thirds of the way through 2018. So, if you’ve been thinking about relocating to the UAE, either in this year or for the start of 2019, it’s time to stop putting it off and time to get started.

Whatever part of the UAE you are planning on relocating to, we can help you get the right professional license in place. This is especially important, as most healthcare employers in the UAE are now unwilling to consider applicants until they have the relevant UAE professional license.

Whether you need your Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license, your Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) License, your Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) License or your Ministry of Health (MOH) license then you will know that it can be a long process. Working with Doctors in Dubai will greatly reduce your application time – in some cases from six months to as little as six weeks (depending on the license). If you are keen to relocate and are not sure which Emirate you would like to relocate to, we can also help you to get multiple licenses in place.

If you are only considering relocating, but are not sure what would be the best place to start, then why not take advantage of our Primary Assessment Service? Send your documents to our dedicated Primary Assessment Team and they will assess which UAE professional licenses you are eligible for. Alternatively, if you want some more in-depth advice, you can arrange a one-on-one conversation with one of our senior directors to discuss the logistics of relocating, what to expect in the UAE and to have absolutely any question you have answered.

New Maternity Hospital Announced For Abu Dhabi

A new 120-bed maternity hospital in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi is set to open its doors in 2021.

The European Maternity Hospital hospital will provide healthcare services for women and children in the region. It has already been granted a license by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality and the Abu Dhabi Department of Health.

Doctors in Dubai CEO Kaneez Nabijee commented: “It is wonderful to see the continued investment in new hospitals, both in Abu Dhabi and throughout the rest of the UAE. These hospitals are springing up because there is a patient need, and of course that means that these hospitals need staff.

“The development of these new centres is just one of a myriad of reasons why the UAE continues to be one of the most attractive destinations on the planet for Doctors and other Healthcare staff. If you are considering relocating, then get in touch with the team at Doctors in Dubai so we can help you get the correct UAE professional licenses in place and we can also help you secure employment.”
